To Seattle

My Favorite things about the week of Christmas

*Skiing at Whistler (2 great ski days with new snow each day)
*Watching the birds near the Harmony lift

(yes, that is Ryan giving the bird the bird)
*The Nativity, Christmas Eve at Nana & Papa's house*Nana's Decorations
*The frost on Whidbey Island, Christmas Morning.
*Going to the Messiah sing-along in Seattle. (My favorite Christmas tradition that I've adopted from Ryan, is going to as many Messiah Sing alongs as possible during the Christmas season. This Seattle sing-along is one of my favorites that he's taken me to; they don't skip any of the songs and it's a sing along as well as a play-along.)
*Watching the "Barbie Christmas Carol" and playing super heros with Grant & Aurora (my new niece and nephew).
*Being with Ryan 100% of the week.
*Relaxing and enjoying Kim's decorations.
*Starting a new knitting project (thanks to my inspiring & helpful in-laws).
*Getting to know Ryan's extended family a little better.
*Eating (but of course I'd put that on the list) I loved our cheesy, rosemary french toast that we had on Christmas morning; as well as our very creative, and surprisingly delicious Christmas dinner that we put together from what we could find at the only open store on Bainbridge; the Christmas treats that Leslie made, and I can never get enough peppermint ice cream.

(Excuse my excessive love for food, but it was Christmas and I'm eating for two: me & my husband.)

Remember the Messiah singalong at the Kennedy Center? We weren't able to go this year because we flew to AZ that morning... also, they don't have you camp out to wait for tickets, they do it all the day of the show. Kind of lame if you ask me.

And jeal jeal of the singing of ALL the songs! I hate when they leave out the good ones.

Loved hearing about your Christmas. It made me miss you more! You are hilarious. I never thought of it before, but you do have to eat for two:)! Can't wait to hear about the knitting project. I have wanted to learn how to knit ever since Catherine learned from Grandma Christopherson.

I wish I would have known you were around Seattle for Christmas! Do you guys go there often? We are in Wenatchee (like 2.5 hrs away) and I am DYING to meet Ryan in person. You two are just perfect. And I LOVED your Christmas card. Made me giddy and giggly! Loves!
