Two Thousand Mine

I feel like everyone is so down on 2009. As if it were a major burden and their happy to have it off their back.

Maybe I'm too nostalgic, but I just keep thinking about how it was one of my favorite years. I felt like everything came together for me in big ways and in small ways. At the top of the list, of course, I got married; but there were so many personal miracles leading up to our engagement and so many surprisingly wonderful moments after as well. To anyone else (except for maybe Ryan), the details of these events would probably seem silly, but let me just say, generally speaking, that 2009 was great.

Although I'm very nostalgic, I'm not really one for trying to play catch up with my journal or with my blog. However, before I archive my pictures from the past and move on to 2010, I'd go ahead and pepper the old blog with some of the liked, yet unused pictures of 2009.

The view from my bedroom window
(in the apartment I lived in while I was single)
From one of my many spring walks in the Conservatory Gardens
My Former Street
Going to the "Senior Prom" with Ryan
(we loved this lady...especially her eyebrows)
When my Mom came to visit a month before the wedding
The 4th of July in Provo
Moving in together & painting our apartment

Here's hoping that 2010 will be as great as this past year:

Two (globes)
Thousand(s of people)
Mine
