And you know what I love more than snow?

I feel like Central Park's most beautiful moments are when it's covered in snow. I probably feel that way because I love snow so much, but also it only happens a few times each year, and when it does the park is exceptionally peaceful, quiet, and clean.
It also probably seems more beautiful because it is completely opposite of what the rest of the city is like when it snows: chaotic, windy, and covered in dirty, slushy snow.
So when we woke up and saw that the big, anticipated "blizzard" had finally started, we pulled on our boots and walked to work through The Park, because we didn't want to miss out on this:

this just inspired me to get out in the snow and enjoy life instead of stay inside all day, as planned. I am now on my way to a snowball fight on the Great Hill. thanks for the motivation!
I wish I had been brave enough to go out today. I did pull the camera out, but only to snap a few shots through the window. Totally lame. I did tweet this post though b/c I love the pix you got. BEEYOUteeful.
